As an interface between dance practice, dance production, documentation, dance education, dance science and medicine as well as cultural policy and society, the German Dance Association combines expert knowledge in all areas of dance and makes it accessible. To this end, the German Dance Association cooperates with existing structures and designs mediation offers in the form of practice-oriented qualifications with a focus on career development, working conditions, key qualifications and health. The offers are developed from the umbrella organization's communication with members, networks, dance producers and dance professionals.
Divided into the four subject areas of career development, working conditions, key qualifications and health, you will find a collection of media, scripts, presentations, recommendations for action, seminar recordings and recordings of Zoom workshops on the subject of qualifications in dance under Resources.
Does the qualification program not contain the right offer or does it not take place at the desired time? In addition to our regular program, the German Dance Association offers the opportunity to book workshops on career entry according to special needs. Qualification on demand

We increasingly encounter right-wing and discriminatory statements unexpectedly in professional or everyday situations - on stage, in a taxi to a rehearsal or in public spaces. What options do I have for positioning myself? What options for action are available in such situations, how are (extreme) right-wing argumentation patterns structured? We work situationally on the experiences of the participants and with interactive methods. After the high demand we now offer a second training on October 20.
Registration deadline: Only via the online form. As always, participation is free of charge, but the number of participants is limited . Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
