Der Dachverband Tanz Deutschland wird mit dem Projekt "Dance Update Germany"
auf der CINARS Biennale 2022 in Montreal, Kanada präsent sein. Finden könnt ihr uns am Stand 134.
Ein Begegnungs- und Dialograum für die internationale tanzmesse nrw 31.08. - 03.09.2022, Düsseldorf, und CINARS Biennale 07. - 12.11.2022, Konferenz und Festival in Montreal
Für das Jahr 2022 hat der Dachverband Tanz Deutschland erstmalig ein Pilotprojekt für eine gemeinsame Präsenz des Tanzes aus Deutschland bei der internationalen tanzmesse nrw im August 2022 auf den Weg gebracht. Das Format Dance Update Germany wird nun auf der CINARS Biennale in Montreal zum zweiten Mal den Tanz aus Deutschland repräsentieren.
Ein aktueller Ausschnitt der Tanzszene in Deutschland, mit neuen Produktionen, etablierten wie aufstrebenden Künstler*innen und frischen Ideen: Dance Update Germany!
Die Konzeption ist gemeinsam mit Netzwerken, Verbänden und Initiativen entwickelt, welche bereits ihre regionalen Künstler*innen und Kompanien bei der internationalen tanzmesse nrw präsentiert haben, so z.B. das nrw landesbuero tanz und die TanzSzene Baden-Württemberg.
Gedacht war dort nicht an den üblichen Stand, sondern an eine Präsentations- und Begegnungsfläche (Dialograum), auf der Künstler*innen und andere Fachbesucher*innen über künstlerische und gesellschaftliche Themen ins Gespräch kommen konnten und in kreative Prozesse eingestiegen sind.
The pilot project Dance Update Germany is a joint initiative of regional dance networks and dance offices, the German Dance Association and the landesbuero tanz nrw to showcase dance in German federal states and municipalities and promote national and international exchanges among dance artists.
Visitors to the area/booth of Dance Update Germany had the opportunity at the “internationale tanzmesse nrw 2022” to find out more about the artists and companies currently producing contemporary dance in Germany through conversations and video material available during the fair. The project team also intended presenting several key topics that will be increasingly important in the dance scene in Germany in the future (dance for young audiences, audience development, and diversity and inclusion) and examine these topics in more detail on the basis of artistic positions. At the CINARS Biennale the project team wants to continue giving insights of the German dance landscape abroad with the initiative Dance Update Germany.
