The nrw landesbuero tanz is an information and advice point for dance professionals in North Rhine-Westphalia. It provides information about current dance activities, is involved in formats for further training and qualification and promotes both intergenerational and international exchange with its dance mediation and dance fair divisions.
The nrw landesbuero tanz organizes the biennial “internationale tanzmesse nrw”, “Dynamo - junge Tanzplattform NRW”, “180° Drehung” and the “Festival tanz nrw aktuell” in joint organization with the Tanzproduzenten-Konferenz NRW.
It is supported by the association nrw landesbuero tanz e.V. formerly Gesellschaft für Zeitgenössischen Tanz (GZT NRW), which considers itself a link between dance professionals and politics. GZT NRW was founded in 1992 on the initiative of Anne Neumann-Schultheis, co-founder of GZT NRW and initiator of the internationale tanzmesse nrw in 1994.
