We are looking for dance professionals, networkers, designers, promoters and niche specialists in the field of dance for our first BARCAMP.
POSITIONS:DANCE #6 CLAIM FOR DANCE
Promotion - social relevance - innovative impulses of the art form dance with all its facets form the content framework.
On 13 and 14 October 2023, up to 25 slots with 45-minute sessions each will offer space for input, exchange of experiences, best practices, fuck ups, discussion, questions without solutions, perspectives.
The Barcamp is intended to be an open space for the needs of independent dance makers, artistic collectives, permanent ensembles and production companies, schools and archives, for the significance of dance science, journalism, dance medicine, dance mediation for society and much more.

We are looking for a wide range of perspectives on the topic of PROMOTION that you would like to bring to the leadership of a session. Are you interested in topics such as spaces, qualification, funding, visibility, diversity, accessibility, mobility, networking or completely different questions? You are looking for an exchange at eye level and want new impulses and strategies or want to share your experiences? Then apply with your proposals for a session chair via the form below.
After the Corona pandemic and the extensive funding by NEUSTART KULTUR, cultural funding is returning to the situation of the beginning of 2020. We want to bring together your experiences of the last three years and together transform them into ideas, demands and new perspectives on arts and culture funding. Results and impressions will be accessible on the web parallel to the event and offer input and networking potential for non-participants.
There will also be spaces and time slots on site for spontaneous input, discussion topics and working groups for those who decide to come at short notice.
We are looking forward to all those who are interested and want to contribute their experiences.

For your planning, please keep in mind that no more than 20 minutes of pure input should be planned within the 45 minutes, so that there is enough time for discussion, exchange and networking.
Additional information and access
Selected presenters will receive an honorarium of 150,00 € and reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs up to 250,00 €.
