The two-year pilot project Creative Transfer was launched at the beginning of 2019. The program supported artists, creative professionals and their representatives in establishing and expanding their international network and improving the visibility of their work on the international market. To this end, Kreativ-Transfer supported (pro rata) participation in international fairs, festivals and platforms,
festivals and platforms. With workshops, networking meetings and informal get-togethers, various formats of know-how transfer and experience exchange accompanied the artists:inside and creative professionals.
Since travel was not readily available during the pandemic, Kreativ-Transfer found other ways to support artists, creatives and their representatives. Alternatively, projects of international networking, visibility and professionalization were supported and digital events were offered.
The funding program will be continued from summer 2021: Like the pilot program, Kreativ-Transfer II is aimed at actors from the performing arts, the visual arts and the games industry. In the course of the two years, it will also be examined to what extent the program can also be implemented in the field of fashion design.
After Kreativ-Transfer I (funded with 490,000 euros), Kreativ-Transfer II will be funded with 790,000 euros by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM), a significant strengthening of the program! The responsible body for the Kreativ-Transfer program is the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland e.V.(DTD).
In its implementation, the DTD cooperates with the Bundesverband Freie Darstellende Künste e.V. (BFDK), the Bundesverband Zeitgenössischer Zirkus e.V. (BUZZ), the Federal Association of German Galleries and Art Dealers e.V. (BVDG), the International
Society of Fine Arts e.V. (IGBK), the game - Association of the German Games Industry e.V. and transmissions GmbH. Further information on the program can be found on our website: www.kreativ-transfer.de
