BA in Dance from the Center for Contemporary Dance / Cologne University of Music and Dance
On the day of the year when dance is celebrated around the world, students from the Cologne University of the Arts take the stage at TanzFaktur. It is their moment: through their solos, they express their personal perspectives and bring their own messages to today’s dance world.
The solo pieces navigate the space between intimacy and publicness, between vulnerability and self-assertion. They explore questions of identity, body image, desire, care, pain, and healing, as well as processes of withdrawal, searching, and becoming.
