The online event series is about creating access to dance for people with disabilities. This event is about dance festivals. What influence do festivals have on the development of disabled artists? How does programming affect how disabled artists create, produce and present?
We will take an international perspective. Festival directors and curators Anna Consolati ("Oriente Occidente" Italy), Stine Nilsen ("CODA Oslo International Dance Festival" Norway), Anna MΓΌlter ("Festival Theaterformen" Germany) and Noa Winter (freelance curator and project director "Making A Difference" Germany) will present strategies and concepts. The freelance producer and consultant Nadja Dias will talk about her experiences in producing and touring works by disabled artists.
The event is open to all and free of charge!
This time, most of the event will be held in spoken English. We offer a simultaneous audio translation into German Easy Language as well as a translation into German Sign Language (DGS).
