The board of the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland has recorded the joint affirmation of the code of conduct of the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland and the working towards structural changes in a position paper on May 19, 2021. In it, the board and the managing director of Dachverband Tanz Deutschland speak out against racism in society as well as in the cultural sector itself, especially against racist attacks and discrimination against artists and creatives, and for an open and diverse society. In addition, work has already been underway since 2019 on the establishment of an ethics committee, which is to be set up this year.
