The German Dance Association (DTD) is committed to promoting dance throughout Germany in a way that is structured to meet the needs of professional artists. We want to achieve federal funding that can be compared with funding for music or film.
The first steps in this direction were taken in 2013 with the Dance Initiative. The goal is to establish a long-term framework for dance funding that brings the funding procedures and funding instruments of local and state governments and the federal government's initiatives into an effective structure.
With the Initiative for the German Dance Association has succeeded in establishing new national co-production funding and international guest performance funding. Both funding models have been tendered and implemented through the National Performance Network. Please find more information on the Joint Adventures / NPN website.

In particular in the context of our projects "DIS-TANZEN", "tanz digital", "Tanz aus Deutschland" and "KREATIV-TRANSFER" we offer calls for proposals or qualification measures/workshops on a regular basis.
